Newly Refurbished Kitchen

The new kitchen was made possible thanks mainly to generous donations from two trust funds which were set up by local residents Keith Baker and Valerie Munday, to benefit the local community.

Thanks also go to Birchwood Carpentry and Construction Ltd of Newhaven who transformed the kitchen to a bright, modern, user friendly facility.

The kitchen is used extensively on a daily basis by members who gather together for coffee and to socialise at the end of their club activity and, importantly, there is a popular weekly club lunch. In addition there are occasional special events and a monthly Sunday Lunch is offered by Age Concern Seaford.

This important project follows a complete remodelling of the toilets and an upgrade of the Art Studio all of which have radically improved the club facilities, making it a highly valued and much used community hub for local residents over the age of sixty.

Club members enjoy a wide choice of activities including Snooker, Art, Keep Fit, Table Tennis, Craft and Chat, Choir and a variety of board games.

The club is located in the old flint building in the grounds of the Wave Leisure Centre and welcomes enquiries from potential new members.
